**DC Voltage Conditioner (DVC)**

The DC Voltage Conditioner is a power electronic device, which can be applied to individual VFD’s or to a DC Bus System. It corrects voltage anomalies by providing DC voltage support to the VFD DC bus or to a DC Bus system. This maintains motor speed to keep essential processes running and avoids costly unplanned production stoppages The DVC comprises a range of models; some can correct only voltage sags, others can correct both sags and power outages. and damage to equipment. It is applicable to AC VFD’s up to 600VAC and with models from 5kW to 1300kW. The DVC is a device which typically operates when the input voltage drops below 90% of nominal. The DVC will then support the DC bus voltage, typically at 90% of nominal, for a predetermined length of time depending on the model. Parallel connection is made directly to the DC bus connections so the DVC has very low energy losses when in standby mode. DVC provides a complete solution with disconnects and fuses included. The DC Voltage Conditioner DVC-R is a power electronic device which can be applied to a 3 phase circuit in situations where 3 phase voltage sags can go as deep as 50% of nominal voltage remaining for up to 2 seconds or it can support There is no energy storage in the DVC-R so it has a small footprint and lower cost than units which can withstand power outages. When a voltage sag occurs, the DVC-R will support the DC bus at 90% of nominal voltage, by drawing additional current from the line for the duration of the voltage sag. The DVC-R is connected directly to the DC bus terminals of the VFD and is complete with AC disconnect switch and fuses. 5-1300kW at 208V, 480V & 600V 60Hz. 50Hz available with different voltages High Efficiency - low standby power consumption.
The DC Voltage Conditioner DVC-C is a power electronic device which can be applied to a 3 phase circuit in situations where deep 3 phase voltage sags or momentary power outages can occur for up to 2 seconds. Energy storage is available with electrolytic capacitors up to 1 second or with ultra capacitors up to 2 seconds When a voltage sag occurs, the DVC-C will support the DC bus at 90% of nominal voltage. Energy storage is available with batteries When a voltage sag occurs, the DVC-U will support the DC bus at 90% of nominal voltage.
